Vampire Academy BOOK REVIEW!

The first book of the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead.

Oh wow! This book is truly amazing. *sings in my soprano voice.* I’ve just finished the book guys like a couple of hours ago and it was good. I’ve discovered the series last summer when I watched the movie. Uh huh, I did watched the movie first and I was very confused, and by the end of the movie I saw that it was based from a novel. So I searched about it and scold myself for not knowing about Vampire Academy. I was like “Agggh How frustrating! I need the book right now, I am absolutely confused and Intrigued!” Then I read it was a series composed of six books, and so I decided to add the series in my TBR pile until now. I’ve been waiting for one year to have the series in my hands imagine that ONE FREAKING YEAR! Okay, okay at least it’s in my hands now. To be honest I am not a fan of Vampire novels but this book made me love vampire novels. Yes, and I decided that I need to read lots and lots of vampire novels these days.

This book is about two young girls who are best friends named Rosemarie Hathaway and Vasilisa Dragomir. (Vasilisa,I love her name ahh.) They both ran away from St. Vladimir’s Academy.

Rosemarie Hathaway is a Dhampir and the guardian of Vasilisa while Vasilisa Dragomir is a Moroi royal, in other words she’s a vampire princess. They both ran away from their school for two years until they were found and brought back into their school, were they met lots of dangers.

My favorite character in here is Rose she’s so fierce, passionate, and she’s not afraid to show her emotion and her true self. Rose might be reckless but she’s trying to practice self-control and Rose is willing to sacrifice everything for Lissa. Their friendship is very remarkable,it is very strong. You can see a great example of loyalty in this book. I’ll rate this book 5 out of 5 stars a really great book and an easy read. It is filled with events that you can relate. I am now reading Frostbite the second book of the series.

  1. There are always too many books and not enough hours in the day to read the ones you want. I wish things like jobs didn’t get in the way of our passion for reading. I do like to read book in order if possible.
