Book Characters I’d Like To Cosplay!

Hey guys!

I’ve stopped reading The 5th Wave for awhile cause I’m itching to do this blog post.

So yeah, I’ve been a cosplayer before but I already stopped because I’m now more focused with reading and blogging.

Anyway, I still want to cosplay but this time it’s going to be different because instead of cosplaying an anime character, I’m going to cosplay my favorite characters from the books I love.

Well, it’s not like I’m going to present my favorite characters on stage but a photoshoot will do. Oh! I can also film a roleplay with my bookish friends and post it here!

(Honestly, I don’t have some bookish friends in person yet.)

So guys!

Without further ado, Let’s start!

#1: Clary Fray

The Mortal Instruments Series

Photo from Pinterest.

Ohhh… so craving to cosplay Clary for a year already! I already own some of her outfit but I don’t have her boots and gloves yet. I also want to have a stele and some seraph blades to add in the kickass outfit but most of all I need to dye my hair like Clary’s hair and draw somes runes on my body so that I really do like a Shadowhunter or Clary.

#2: Hermione Granger

Harry Potter Series

Photo from Pinterest.

Who wouldn’t to cosplay Hermione or just dress up like a Hogwarts student right? I’ve been wanting to have the Hogwarts uniform since I was in sixth grade. HA! and now I still don’t have it. Scratch that though, maybe I’ll have it pretty pretty soon. Can’t wait to wear that awesome coat at school.  That would be weird for some people but I don’t care.

*wink. wink.*

#3: Katy Swartz

LUX Series

Photo from Polyvore.

Yaaas! I really need the freaking shirt as soon as I can! This is the simplest outfit in this post right? Just that awesomesauce shirt, a pants, boots, and an obsidian necklace. I guess, I need to find an obsidian necklace. It’s an important accessory of Katy.

(That shirrrrrrrrrt!!!)

#4: America Singer

The Selection Series

Photo from Wikia.

Holy molies!

This is my most favorite gown that America Singer wore in the books. The gown is just simple but it is elegant. The rose thingy in the gown is completely attractive and other than black gowns I also love white gowns.

Man, I’d love to wear this gown in our senior’s ball soon and have a photoshoot after the ball. Mhmmm… sounds like a plan.

(Although, I was planning for a Victorian dress.)

#5: June Iparis

Legend Trilogy

Photo from Pinterest.

This outfit have some similarities with a Shadowhunter’s outfit but the difference is the military aura of the outfit. I was practically drooling when Marie Lu described June’s outfit in her books. It was so cool and I really want a military or punk outfit. I was already imagining myself with June’s outfit while reading the outfit and that’s the time I decided I’d cosplay her soon.

So that’s it for this post folks and I hope you enjoyed it! 🙂

I might not post 3 time a day during weekdays because my class is going to resume tomorrow already. Yup, that’s right tomorrow. *cries*

Christmas break is over! I CAN’T WAIT FOR SUMMER!!!

But don’t worry folks I’ll post two or three times a day during the weekends. 🙂

Don’t forget to leave your thoughts down below people and I’ll see ya’ll!

Best Book Series That I Have Read On 2015!

Hey guys! I’m baaaaaaaackkkkk!!!

About a few more hours to go till’ New Year’s Eve here in our country!

(Which is the wonderful and beautiful Philippines!)

and so…

giphy (21).gif

Since 2015 is coming to an end, I want to share to ya’ll the best book series that I’ve read on 2015. I’ve read lots of series for this year but these series totally blew my mind on so many levels.

So without further ado, Let’s start!

1.) The Lux Series by: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Totally blew my mind, heart, and soul. It’s so obvious right? Since most of my posts this month are related with this series. No more words to say since I’ve already rant about the series on my last posts.

2.) Legend Trilogy by: Marie Lu

This series totally made me not to care about the world while reading this. I was so desperate to end the series but not. Yeah, it was confusing but good gracious this series is so super ultra mega awesomsauce to the nth level. No more words to say but all I know is I love this series so much!

3.) The Mara Dyer Trilogy by: Michelle Hodkin

HA! This series tortured my emotional side but it was worth it. This series is such a mystery and you’ll never know what’s going to happened. The twist of events? Ugggh! it’s amazing yet it’ll definitely test your temper.

4.) Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Trilogy

I already have bought the third book but I didn’t have the chance to read it and so that explains why there are only two books in the picture. The first two books made my reading slump go away and good gracious I haven’t expected that this series will be so good. So yeah, after how many months of neglecting this series I totally have read them and I have never ever regret my decision.

P.S. I’ll read the third book on 2016! That’s a promise!

That’s it for this post guys!

Thank you so much for reading this blog and I hope you enjoyed it!

Don’t forget to leave your thoughts down below and have a BLESSED NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 🙂

See ya’ll!

Legend Trilogy Book Talk!

Hello guys I just arrived from school and I’m a little bit drowsy. Zzz…

giphy (8)

But who cares? As long as I’m doing a blog post I’ll keep these wide eyes of mine awake.

Anyway, let’s now proceed to the main topic of this blog post which is Marie Lu‘s awesome and dynamic Dystopian novel the Legend Trilogy.

I’ve read the series during the second week of October and ended during the last day of October. (Good gracious I’m too drowsy right now…Zzz) I was so pumped up to read the series because I was already craving for it for how many months already. After I’ve read the Mara Dyer Trilogy, I immediately picked the  first book and oh It was super ultra mega awesome.

I’ve read lots of dystopian series already but good gracious why did this series hit me so hard? I mean hit me that I didn’t even have time to do some other stuffs and don’t wanna put the freaking book down. Yes, I’ve already encountered this situation lots of times before especially with the Harry Potter and the The Mortal Instruments series but it’s been a while since then.

June Iparis she’s my favorite character in the series of course. Why? Because she’s the type of girl that I want to be someday or now. Except for the prodigy thing that she have it seems impossible. Although, it would be awesome if I’ll be a prodigy. (especially in physical, calculating, and military skills.) She’s very driven with her work and she’s very loyal with it. I also love the way on how she masked her emotions. She is just very good at it and I like to have those skills too. Her weakness?  Her FAMILY and Day and that’s good because with that she discovered the truth and she knows now on which side she should be working with.

Daniel “Day” Wing not my favorite character but my ideal type of guy. A very family oriented person who’s willing to risk everything even though he’s the most wanted guy in his country. He is simple and doesn’t want any lavish and fancy things. I love his cleverness and how wise he is on the street. (By the way he is a prodigy too.) I don’t have much to say about Day’s character because I’m mostly focused with June but don’t get me wrong folks Day is perfect.

This series showed how a government can keep conspiracies and such anomalies. I also love how the series showed the importance of equality in the society and how you should open your mind with possibilities and face them even though you’ll went through lots of hardships. I love how it gives importance to families and friends.

The series proves that love is truly powerful in so many ways and kinds. It is also significant that in the end the main characters still found and love each other despite of the bitterness they’ve experienced and the time that they we’re away and I cried so hard in this part.

The series didn’t only gave me ways on how to take down the government or hide from them in times of anarchy (HAHAHA! as if I could.) but it also gave me lots of moral lessons that I applied to myself and pretty much discovered lots of things that I want and I didn’t want for me.

It may be weird but everytime I finished a series I always pick the moral lessons that I’ve learned and keep them inside the depths of my heart and make some self realizations and reflection. Are you doing that kind of thing too? PLEASE TELL ME!

I’ve suffered book hungover for how many weeks after I finished the last book and it was killing me. It was so hard for me to start a new series and that caused me to jump into the void of a reading slump. *sigh*

So, have you read the trilogy already? If not then what are you waiting for? It’s been years since the series was published and you’ll be missing a very awesome and dynamic dystopian series! GRAB.THEM.NOW!

And… for those who already read the trilogy why don’t you tell me your thoughts down below and make some discussions? It will awesome I haven’t been in a group discussion for a while and I miss it already.

That’s it for today folks and see ya’ll tomorrow!

I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post.
