Desperate Reads!

Hey guys!

I’m back again and I’m so thankful to have some energy left to make this post!

Anyway, We all have some books that we are so desperate to read right? Right. But for me it’s different. I’m desperate to read these books but I still can’t have them because I already have some plans.

But don’t worry I have plans to have these books soon!

Now, now everyone let’s start! 🙂

The Legion Trilogy by: Kami Garcia

I really want to read books with ghosts in it and I knew that this series would be perfect. When I’ve read the plot of the books I was hooked and when I watched the book trailers well I got excited and intrigued. I guess this series will freak me out and I really hope so because hello? Ghosts in the story? IT. MUST. BE. FREAKING. SCARY. Kami Garcia is one of my favorite authors since she wrote the Caster Chronicles together with Margaret Stohl (you know the Beautiful Creatures series). That means I have so much expectations with this series.

The third book of the series is not yet published but a lot of people says it will be published this year. (YES PLEASE! Cause I hate cliffhangers or emotional distress.)

Icons Duology by: Margaret Stohl

Yep, still one of my favorite authors. Margaret Stohl wrote a dystopian series?! *mind blown* I love dystopian series and I love Margaret Stohl and I also love aliens! Holy alien babies everywhere! Well, I really couldn’t ask for more. My favorites are in this series and so why not grab both books immediately? Since it’s a freaking duology and it’s totally complete I’ve already decided about a minute ago that I should grab the books this year. Yeah, I should! NO. ONE. CAN. STOP. ME. Okay, I’m freaking out. *breathes heavily*

P.S. I guess I’ll beg for a third book as soon as I finish these two books.

That’s it for this post people but don’t worry I have lots of desperate reads and that means I’ll make a part two for this post this coming Saturday.

So stay tuned for that! 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this post and don’t forget to leave your thoughts down below!

See ya’ll!

Books That I’d Like To Add Up On My Plan!

Hey guys! 🙂

Do you remember my post that talks about the books I’ll buy on 2016?

Yes, that post and I already have some books to add on my plan!

So without further ado, Let’s start! 🙂

The End Game Trilogy

James Frey & Nils Johnson-Shelton

Been raving for this books last year and I haven’t buy it yet because it’s not complete and I know that you know the reason already. (#CliffhangerIssues) Since the third book will be released this year, I guess it will be good to pick up the series already and put them on my bookshelf for sometime and read them! It’s a freaking dystopian and the plots are very mysterious which made me more desperate to have the series.

Prisoner of Night & Fog Series

Anne Blankman

I really have thought the series will have three books but as I’ve searched the series on Goodreads, I’ve read that it will only have two books. I’m also dying to read historical fiction novels. The plot of both books are so interesting and lots of reviews told me to be emotional prepared.

HA! It’s so on!!! I’ll see these books this year!

Bloodlines Series

Richelle Mead

Well, if I’ll have this series this year then I should finish the last two books of Vampire Academy series. I haven’t finished the series last year because it gave me a very bad reading slump and so I stopped and proceed into another series. I guess, I’ll be more pumped up to read the last two books this year especially when I’ll purchase this series soon!

Yay! So, that’s it for this post and I hope you all enjoyed it! 🙂

Don’t forget to leave your thoughts down below and I’ll see ya’ll!

Best Book Series That I Have Read On 2015!

(Which is the wonderful and beautiful Philippines!)

and so…

giphy (21).gif

Since 2015 is coming to an end, I want to share to ya’ll the best book series that I’ve read on 2015. I’ve read lots of series for this year but these series totally blew my mind on so many levels.

So without further ado, Let’s start!

1.) The Lux Series by: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Totally blew my mind, heart, and soul. It’s so obvious right? Since most of my posts this month are related with this series. No more words to say since I’ve already rant about the series on my last posts.

2.) Legend Trilogy by: Marie Lu

This series totally made me not to care about the world while reading this. I was so desperate to end the series but not. Yeah, it was confusing but good gracious this series is so super ultra mega awesomsauce to the nth level. No more words to say but all I know is I love this series so much!

3.) The Mara Dyer Trilogy by: Michelle Hodkin

HA! This series tortured my emotional side but it was worth it. This series is such a mystery and you’ll never know what’s going to happened. The twist of events? Ugggh! it’s amazing yet it’ll definitely test your temper.

4.) Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Trilogy

I already have bought the third book but I didn’t have the chance to read it and so that explains why there are only two books in the picture. The first two books made my reading slump go away and good gracious I haven’t expected that this series will be so good. So yeah, after how many months of neglecting this series I totally have read them and I have never ever regret my decision.

P.S. I’ll read the third book on 2016! That’s a promise!

That’s it for this post guys!

Thank you so much for reading this blog and I hope you enjoyed it!

Don’t forget to leave your thoughts down below and have a BLESSED NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 🙂

See ya’ll!

Legend Trilogy Book Talk!

Hello guys I just arrived from school and I’m a little bit drowsy. Zzz…

giphy (8)

But who cares? As long as I’m doing a blog post I’ll keep these wide eyes of mine awake.

Anyway, let’s now proceed to the main topic of this blog post which is Marie Lu‘s awesome and dynamic Dystopian novel the Legend Trilogy.

I’ve read the series during the second week of October and ended during the last day of October. (Good gracious I’m too drowsy right now…Zzz) I was so pumped up to read the series because I was already craving for it for how many months already. After I’ve read the Mara Dyer Trilogy, I immediately picked the  first book and oh It was super ultra mega awesome.

I’ve read lots of dystopian series already but good gracious why did this series hit me so hard? I mean hit me that I didn’t even have time to do some other stuffs and don’t wanna put the freaking book down. Yes, I’ve already encountered this situation lots of times before especially with the Harry Potter and the The Mortal Instruments series but it’s been a while since then.

June Iparis she’s my favorite character in the series of course. Why? Because she’s the type of girl that I want to be someday or now. Except for the prodigy thing that she have it seems impossible. Although, it would be awesome if I’ll be a prodigy. (especially in physical, calculating, and military skills.) She’s very driven with her work and she’s very loyal with it. I also love the way on how she masked her emotions. She is just very good at it and I like to have those skills too. Her weakness?  Her FAMILY and Day and that’s good because with that she discovered the truth and she knows now on which side she should be working with.

Daniel “Day” Wing not my favorite character but my ideal type of guy. A very family oriented person who’s willing to risk everything even though he’s the most wanted guy in his country. He is simple and doesn’t want any lavish and fancy things. I love his cleverness and how wise he is on the street. (By the way he is a prodigy too.) I don’t have much to say about Day’s character because I’m mostly focused with June but don’t get me wrong folks Day is perfect.

This series showed how a government can keep conspiracies and such anomalies. I also love how the series showed the importance of equality in the society and how you should open your mind with possibilities and face them even though you’ll went through lots of hardships. I love how it gives importance to families and friends.

The series proves that love is truly powerful in so many ways and kinds. It is also significant that in the end the main characters still found and love each other despite of the bitterness they’ve experienced and the time that they we’re away and I cried so hard in this part.

The series didn’t only gave me ways on how to take down the government or hide from them in times of anarchy (HAHAHA! as if I could.) but it also gave me lots of moral lessons that I applied to myself and pretty much discovered lots of things that I want and I didn’t want for me.

It may be weird but everytime I finished a series I always pick the moral lessons that I’ve learned and keep them inside the depths of my heart and make some self realizations and reflection. Are you doing that kind of thing too? PLEASE TELL ME!

I’ve suffered book hungover for how many weeks after I finished the last book and it was killing me. It was so hard for me to start a new series and that caused me to jump into the void of a reading slump. *sigh*

So, have you read the trilogy already? If not then what are you waiting for? It’s been years since the series was published and you’ll be missing a very awesome and dynamic dystopian series! GRAB.THEM.NOW!

And… for those who already read the trilogy why don’t you tell me your thoughts down below and make some discussions? It will awesome I haven’t been in a group discussion for a while and I miss it already.

That’s it for today folks and see ya’ll tomorrow!

I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post.
